Overview
LT panels are the nerve centre of any industrial electrical system — every motor, load, and distribution circuit passes through them. We handle the full scope: load schedule preparation, SLD and GA drawing, panel fabrication to IEC 61439, factory acceptance testing, site installation, earthing, and commissioning. In Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, APFC panels are no longer optional — both states levy power factor penalties on industries running below 0.95 PF through DISCOM tariff orders that are revised periodically. We size and commission APFC panels to keep clients on the right side of those regulations.

Our own panel shop means no subcontracting, direct control over busbar sizing, wiring quality, and delivery timelines. Panels are built, wired, and tested under one roof before they leave for site.
IS 8623 has been superseded in practice by IEC 61439, the current international standard for LT panel assemblies. Every panel we fabricate is designed, verified, and tested to IEC 61439 — not to the older standard.
Telangana and AP DISCOMs both levy power factor penalty surcharges for consumers running below 0.95 PF, set through periodic tariff orders. We size APFC panels to the actual reactive load profile of each client — not generic kVAR estimates.
Our panel installations are covered under full CEIG approval — all works executed to IS standards with full documentation.
Before dispatch, every panel goes through insulation resistance testing, CT polarity and ratio verification, breaker functional testing, and contact resistance measurement — issues are resolved in the shop, not on site at the client's expense.
We advise clients on panel architecture, bus ratings, and protection coordination before fabrication begins. Once the design is agreed, we execute. Clients get correct engineering at the front end — not just panels built to a rough sketch.
Solar installations above 100kW require CEIG-approved ACDB and DCDB panels in both AP and Telangana. We design, fabricate, and handle the CEIG approval documentation — covering both the panel and the regulatory clearance.

A Motor Control Centre (MCC) houses starters and protection for multiple motors; a Power Control Centre (PCC) distributes incoming power to sub-boards and feeders rather than controlling motors directly; a PMCC combines both functions in one board. Specifying the wrong one — or assuming they are interchangeable — is a common source of rework on industrial electrical layouts.
LT switchgear assemblies in India are built to IS 8623, which aligns closely with the international IEC 61439 standard — covering everything from bus-bar temperature rise to short-circuit withstand and internal arc containment. A panel that has genuinely passed type-testing to these standards, rather than just being assembled to look similar, is what a Factory Acceptance Test is meant to confirm before dispatch.
IP54 protects against dust ingress and splashing water from any direction — adequate for a clean, indoor panel room. IP65 adds protection against low-pressure water jets, which matters for panels installed near washdown areas, outdoors, or in food and pharmaceutical plants where hygiene protocols involve regular hosing down. Choosing the enclosure rating for the actual site environment, not a default, avoids premature corrosion or component failure.
A panel's short-circuit fault rating — commonly 65kA for industrial installations — determines whether it can safely interrupt a fault without the enclosure failing or arc energy escaping. Type tests for this are conducted at accredited labs such as CPRI (Central Power Research Institute) in Bangalore, and asking for the test certificate is a legitimate way to verify a panel's rated fault level before it's installed.
