Daakshyaani is licensed to execute high-voltage substation projects up to 220kV in both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. References include 220kV ABT metering installations at Gangavaram Port (Adani) and ANRAK Aluminium, 132kV projects at KCP Cement, UltraTech, and NELCAST, along with dozens of 33/11kV consumer substations. We deliver complete substation EPC — engineering drawings, civil foundation, HT switchyard, underground HT XLPE cable, distribution transformer installation, layout electrification, protection relay setting, and final DISCOM energisation.

CEIG inspection is mandatory for every consumer substation before DISCOM releases power. We prepare all documents, coordinate the inspection under CEA Regulation-43, and track the certificate to closure — so the approval process never becomes a client headache.
Relay setting and testing is done by our own engineers — IDMT overcurrent, earth fault, differential, and distance protection across all voltage levels. No third-party relay vendor needed, no coordination gaps at the most critical commissioning step.
We have an established working relationship with APEPDCL, APSPDCL, APCPDCL, TGSPDCL, and TGNPDCL — from power sanction and load agreement through metering approval and energisation scheduling. We know the process and the people at each utility.

Electrical contractor licences in India are issued by voltage band — Low, Medium, High, and Extra-High Voltage — under Section 53 of the Electricity Act, 2003. An 'A' Grade licence is the band that covers work beyond 132kV, which is why a licensed 'A' Grade contractor can take a substation project from 11kV consumer switchyards up to 220kV installations without bringing in a second, higher-licensed contractor partway through.
People often use "CEIG approval" and "DISCOM approval" interchangeably, but they are separate processes run by separate authorities. CEIG (Chief Electrical Inspector to Government) signs off on the safety of the installation itself; the DISCOM separately approves synchronisation and energisation onto its network. A substation needs both before it can go live — and jurisdiction for the safety inspection also splits by voltage, with installations above 33kV routed differently than smaller loads.
